June Life

Seriously?!?! There has been way way way to much life happening in June. If I wrote it all down, you'd all be out of breath by the time you were done, so here's a quick recap of all the "FuN" stuff!

Swimming Lessons!! Yay for swimming lessons! The 3 older kids had lessons and completely enjoyed them. Everyday we asked Jinaya if she had fun at swimming lessons, she said, "No". But she went everyday without complaining and even had a smile all the time. One day she told me she was going to jump off the diving board (her class was a very beginning class and they didn't do that), I told her to ask her teacher. That day she wouldn't get out of the water until I told her teacher she wanted to jump off the diving board. YAY! She did it! Even two or three days in a row! Boo's class jumped every other day and she had a great time. She really enjoyed swimming. Jax was a little nervous in the water and his teacher was incredible with helping him. He started out swimming in place (not even dog paddle, but swimming) and was able to get his big boy body to move forward by the end.

Father's Day! Yay! We tried to go swimming with dad, but all the days were full. We drove to Nana's and Papa's and wanted to go to the pool there, but were stuck in traffic (not fun) and arrived too late to go. We had a great fathers day with Papa and Daddy! We BBQed and played outside!!

Hanksville Girls Camp!! YIPPIE!!! Kids stayed at Nana's and Mommy drove to Hanksville to go with Nellie to girls camp. On the way to Loa to meet up with the stake, I got pulled over. NO JOKE! I was really trying to obey all the traffic laws, but I just stopped paying attention. DO NOT DO THAT! Anyway, no ticket and it provided quite the laugh for the girls, but embarrassed me, not a very good example I set. OOPS! Anyway, We had an AWESOME time! Nellie even made me shoot the mussel loaded riffle, throw spears, and the hatchet. I have to say the girls are way better than me!!! I missed almost everything. I think I need a little more practice. We left on Thursday night at midnight, and well I took a wrong turn and tried to find my way. I finally found a sign that I understood the roads and ended up in Salina after driving 8-10 miles on a 4-wheeler trail after already driving all over the mountain. I was supposed to have gone the other way over the mountain. OOPS! again! We got home at around 4 am, lucky for me our closing time on our house had been rescheduled.

MOVING! I don't know if I consider this fun, because it isn't! It is definitely nice to have a home where all the kids can sleep in a bed. We are living out of boxes and we may be for a while. We have moved into the basement of the Magelson home. We will be moving upstairs and filling the house in about a month. The basement is still bigger than our other home. We finally got all the cleaning and the backyard done! and the dogs are here! I hope they have enough yard to play in! The kids have enjoyed every inch of it already.

ECLIPSE! It was so nice to take a short break and go the the movie with great friends!

So that's June life in a fun shell. When you throw in doctors appointments, packing, closing, cleaning and more of that you get no computer time EVER! and very little relax time!! I am so glad it's July.....do you think it will slow down a bit so I can catch up?

You have sure been super busy! It reminds me of my younger years and that is really fun. I am excited for you to have a bigger house and yard. Maybe we can stop in and see you on one of our trips down south. We are headed to AZ in a week but will pass you by this time. It is too much when you are a young mom trying to move. I remember well. I sure love you JoDee.

What a busy time for you. It takes me back in my memories to when I had a young family. I am excited for you to have a bigger home and yard. We would really like to stop by to visit some time on our way through. We are headed for AZ in just over a week but will pass you by this time. A momma on the move has enough to do! I sure love you JoDee.
