First Haircuts

The kids all received haircuts just before school and for a couple of them this was a first. I didn't take any pictures of Boo. I was almost prepared to cut it off and donate it. It would have been about 15-20 inches to cut it to her shoulders. Then I decided I just found some nice blogs for LONG hair and I would try them. She was pretty heartbroken, but we made a deal to cut it off on her birthday when she is 6. I guess if Mom can't keep her end of the bargain, Dad will take her. In the end she still had 5ish inches cut off! (it still goes to her bum)

Jaythan seriously needed a haircut! New people were cautious to whether he was a boy or girl. He did make a cute "skater" boy. Why is it just so hard to cut your baby's hair? And the curls?
Well there they go! He was such a good boy! He sat still the whole time. And I didn't even take an after photo, or a frontal photo. I know kick me! I am really trying to just get unblurry pictures. But I did snap this one while he was waiting for cake.

Sorry no smiles, all thumbs :D

Jinaya also had her hair trimmed for the first time (I think ever?)

Again, no after picture. Its still pretty long after the 3ish inches.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!

ARE YOU WEARING GREEN????

We are!!!! Ha ha ha....no tricks from the Leprechans today...... They must be all tuckered out. Just kidding....my blog background is all messed up.....But we do have a lucky charm on our side.....

Here's Boos Hair today

Please excuse the "flyers" in the braid crown (it was left over from yesterday.)

What's under a pony tail?
UM.....Well I wasn't sure if you would be able to tell it's a 4-leaf clover. But you can! It looks cute! I got this from cute girls hairsytles and the crown was from Girl Hairdos & Ideas.

Hair Again

This is one of my favorite cute girls hairstyles. (as I have mentioned in a previous post.) It is a bundled bunch of braids. It is so easy and looks nice for church and casual for home or school. I also love what to do with the extra ends. I don't have to hide them to make it cute. I love this site because it has styles for long hair. Although many are "tween" I am able to adapt them well and they are super cute.

Here is today's version. This is the first day of Hair do's since our vacation. Boo loves the lightning down the middle. And she was trying to figure out two into one?? So Anyway it looks very cute!!!

Hair Practice

I have discovered the secret to sitting still while you get your hair done is Pictures and Ribbons/Bows!! So watch out!
Here come the picts!! Plus I figured Gma's love them!!
Boo had this hair for her V-day Party, and the trip to the city. Mom needs practice with twisting! She really wanted Spider hair, so we decided it could look like that.

Today, Jaxon did his hair so he could get his picture too.

This is Boo. She can't quite see the style in the mirror, so alas the picture day!
Plus...I LOVE the braid bun from Adopt a 'Do!!! It was fast and easy, so today is leftover braid day. Yesterday we did not have picture day Sorry.
Mom's twists are much better...I think I was doing it wrong.
The site here has tutorials on twisting and braiding! Scroll all the way down on her site.

It's all about the ribbons for Jina!!! She is still in her jammies, but I will take what I can get! Plus hair out of the eyes!!! Wahoo!!
The buns look larger from this angle, but again I will take what I can get. She loves her picture taken SOMETIMES!

My Try on Heart Hair

So, Here's a try on Heart Hair. I did try another style for church, but didn't take any picts. I also saw two super cute sisters who had this heart hair and I had to try it!

Boo's Hair is really long, so the heart is really big. And without bangs, from the front it looks like a crown. The pictures do make it look bigger than it really is.

Boo's Heart stayed in all day, it was the pony bob, that got a little messy, but not too bad. Anyway, It was so quick and easy I was brave enough to try it on Jina.

I did have a pony in Jina's hair too, but the heart was a little too short. I thought it looked cute without the ponytail.

Jina's Heart, however, did not stay in all day. She kept pulling it out and I was clipping it back in. It was still easy and quick, and Jina's hair was out of her face! :) Thanks for all the great hair blogs!!!

Tripple "X" Hair

My cousin had a post on her blog about hair styles and I thought it was a great idea. I am always forgetting some of the great ideas I've seen and done, so I am taking pictures of them and posting them so I can go back and remember them.

Jaxon though it was X hair, so that is what we call it now.

This one was easy! It was tons of fun. In the future, I would use hair wax on the pony tails as I put them in to keep stragglers down. It lasted for about 2 days and it took about 25 min. I think it would get quicker if you did it more often or you had a plan before you start. :) I think the rows go, 6, 5, 3, 2.
