Happy 2nd Birthday Jina!

On January 29th, Jinaya turned 2 years old!!! Wahooo!!! We had a great day!!! Although we took lots of pictures, some didn't have the flash (oops!) and some are blurry (again), I only have a few posted.

Jinaya (Gin-A-Ya) loves to sing. She remembers all the words to many songs. Some of her most popular songs are: Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, Twinkle Little Star, and Eensy Weensy Spider. My favorite is when she sings songs that say "I Love You". Jina speaks very well for a two-year-old, and you can understand the majority of what she says. She reefers to herself as "Weena". Along with the great speaking ability, she has an amazing talent of making faces. She makes all kinds of crazy faces from mad, sad, silly, happy, and crazy. This talent works hand in hand with her fun personality. (Just don't make her cross). Jina has a mind all her own, and isn't easily persuaded. This is a great aspect as long as she makes the "right" choices. She is pretty funny and makes us laugh constantly. Even when she throws herself onto her stomach and has a fit it is hard not to laugh.

Jinaya loves to dance. We played the "traditional" freeze dance for her birthday. Some of her favorite movies to watch include: Elmo, Shrek (and Donkey), the Grinch, and Mickey Mouse. She loves to color and is working on coloring with her left hand. It is a little tricky, but she is adapting very well to her cast. Jinaya FINALLY has the last of her teeth. Her "i" teeth just came in this past week. She loves to read. She has moved on from board books to bigger books, one of her favorites is The Book of Mormon.

When the kids figured out it was Jina's birthday they were so cute. Jaxon made her a crown and Boo made her a card. All ideas of their own. Boo even helped make the yummy cup cakes. (I promise to post the recipe!) We did get a blurry picture of the crown, but we couldn't get her to wear it. She was too fast and wiggly.
